At 9pm EST on December 4, the Xbox 360 Fall update will be available for all Xbox 360 consoles connected to Xbox Live. The Fall update adds a massive amount of functionality to the Xbox 360 - including downloadable original Xbox games, and a Family Timer for parents to limit the amount of time their kids spend playing the Xbox 360.

Xbox Originals

Classic original Xbox games available for 1200 Microsoft points, including:

• Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex
• Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge
• Halo
• Fable
• Fuzion Frenzy
• Psychonauts

Xbox Live Arcade Hits

The best selling Xbox Live Arcade games will be made Hits, and get a permanently reduced price. Bankshot Billiards 2 and Lumines LIVE will now be available for 800 Microsoft points, and Marble Blast Ultra, Small Arms and Zuma Deluxe will be made available for 400 Microsoft points.

Inside Xbox

A news feed from Xbox.com will be incorporated into the Dashboard, giving users an at-a-glance update on the latest game releases, events and offers.

Enhanced Profiles

Your Gamercard isn’t just your motto and a picture anymore - you now have the option to add an extended bio.

Expanded Friends List Functionality

You can now view the Friends List of other gamers.

The Family Timer

Parents can now define hourly limits on their kids use of the Xbox 360, either on a per-week or per-month basis.

Navigation Enhancements

A dedicated button for the Game Store and Video Store, and enhanced descriptions in the video library.

According to the press release, this is but a fraction of what will be added in the Fall Update - expect the rest to be announced on December 4 at xbox.com/live.
