Major Nelson has posted a stern warning to people who have been abusing the Xbox 360 Achievement system.

Basically, if you give someone access to your account, and they decide not to give it back, the only thing Microsoft will do is cancel the account. They won’t refund your Mom’s credit card for all those Live Arcade games the guy bought, they won’t give you back your Gamerscore, Gamertag, your saved games…nothing.

Secondly, if you’ve been using other people’s saved games to boost your Gamerscore, you might just wake up one day to find your entire Gamerscore has been wiped - and your account will never be able to earn those achievements/points again.
