Wii Shop Channel gets Gift feature, Pokemon Snap

wii-shop-channel-pokemon-snap-gift.jpg

The Wii Shop Channel has been updated with the ability to send someone a Virtual Console game as a gift. To send a gift, select the software you want to send in the Wii Shop Channel, select “Gift”, and choose a friend from your Wii Friends Roster - you can also give it a personal touch by attaching your own Mii and a message.

If you’re looking for something to give someone, you could always try the recently added Nintendo 64 title Pokemon Snap, enhanced by integration with the Wii Message Board, allowing you to share your best shots with friends.

We’re feeling a little festive at The Gamer Gene, so we’re giving away a Virtual Console game to celebrate Christmas (and test out the new functionality, of course) - check out how to enter at this post.

Hi, I’m posting this with the wii so hopefully it won’t be a mess.
The virtual console game I’d love to get for christmas is Pokemon Snap. I had it before on the nintendo 64 but I’d love to play it again. Now that it has a new feature….well I’d love to see what zapped zapdos looks like in the photo channel or give pikachu…..lipstick :p.
Yeah so that’s why I’d really like to play it again, plus I was only about 9 when I played it first, now I’m 16 but I know I’ll love it just as much! :D

    Woops..is this too much? :(
    I think I got carried away….
