Ghostbusters on Wii will be multiplayer oriented

With the launch of this game a year away, we’re making it our duty to report on all the news, rumors and tidbits we can find regarding Ghostbusters. The folks at IGN were actually able to get a tiny peek at the game, bringing back some precious informational nuggets concerning the Wii version: While PC, PS3 and 360 versions will focus on the single player game, the Wii’s emphasis will be on multiplayer.
It will still feature a single player campaign but you can expect less story and less dialogue coming from the Wii version. This is indicative of the Wii’s version targeting the younger demographic, who ostensibly cannot understand plots and dialogue. There are also reports of being able to play through the entire campaign mode in splitscreen co-op (with up to four players) if that’s your sort of thing.
