Team Fortress 2
Team Fortress 2 goodies on the way
December 14th, 2007
Team Fortress 2 fans are in for a bit of a treat in the coming weeks. It has been confirmed that 360 players will be getting a new patch that has already been sent off to Microsoft for approval. The patch will fix “several game-play exploits, improve bandwidth usage, improve stats reporting and fixes some menu bugs.”
PC players will be getting maps as they are individually released and 360 users will get a pack. It is not known when we will see them trickle out or if they will be free.
Valve are also planning to give players the same tools they used to make the videos for the game. Valve hopes that this will create a plethora of user created content to show off the different classes. As above, we don’t not know when this feature will be hitting.
There has been no word on the PS3 version of the game, but given that Valve are not handling that game we wouldn’t really expect them to talk about it.

Team Fortress 2 fans go all out
October 30th, 2007It’s when friends pull together that you get something really special - like these Team Fortress 2 fans who went all out to make one of the best displays of cosplay I have ever seen. We don’t know if this was just a general cosplay event or preparation for Halloween, but whatever it is, it’s amazing.
Check after the jump for original game art to compare against.
Team Fortress 2 patched on Xbox 360
October 30th, 2007
If you were disappointed with Team Fortress 2’s performance on the Xbox 360 you’ll be pleased to know that it should run like butter the next time you sign in. A patch released on the weekend included these changes:
- Reduced network bandwidth usage in multiplayer.
- Improved overall game performance.
- Arranged search results to favor preferred host conditions.
- Improved searching for ranked games.
- Addressed a possible false report of too little storage space on larger hard drives.
Now if only they released games that didn’t require patching to make them playable.
