THQ have signed up to distribute their games digitally with digital download company Gamer’s Gate. Currently the deal includes worldwide access to Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts and Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance as well as the original titles Company of Heroes and Supreme Commander. There are also plans to bring S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, Full Spectrum Warrior, Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights and the upcoming Frontlines: Fuels of War to the service.
However, “worldwide” does not seem to include Australia and New Zealand, which is pretty disappointing.

RTS games have had a history of questionable console ports - never as good as the PC version, and always harder to control. Hopefully Supreme Commander can break the tradition when it arrives on the Xbox 360. Lead designer, Chris Taylor seems confident:
“Aspyr’s developer-friendly publishing environment delivers 100% on our vision for bringing Supreme Commander to the Xbox 360. We believe that we’ve raised the bar for RTS gaming on the PC and now, co-developing with Hellbent Games, we know that we can do the same on consoles.”
Supreme Commander is due on the Xbox 360 early 2008. Aspyr Media must have enjoyed working on their first 360 title as they have said they may be releasing their in-development action-RPG, Space Siege on the 360 as well.
