Midway has finally announced a European release date for the PS3 port of Unreal Tournament 3 - February 22, 2008. The game has already sold over 1.2 million copies, and we suspect it’ll move a few more once it hits the PAL territories. No word on an Australian release date.

Sony has finally announced the PAL release of Riff: Everyday Shooter - not via press release, but during a nice chat with Eurogamer. The price comes in at £4.99, with no Australian price revealed - but last time something cost £4.99, Australians paid $12.95.

SuperVillian Studios has officially announced their PSP port of That Game Company’s amazing PSN title fl0w will be released on March 6. Interestingly, price is yet to be announced - perhaps Sony recognize that this will make or break the port in terms of sales. Despite loving fl0w on the PS3, I’d be hesitant to spend any more than $2.50 on a portable version.
Trailer after the jump.

While Nintendo still lists the date as TBA, it seems 1Up may have let slip the US release date for Wii Fit in some recent coverage:
North Americans can expect to see the game on May 20th… by which time presumably they’ll have that ‘plus-sized’ Western balance board properly stress tested and ready for use.

- Stranglehold (PS3)
- Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
- Unreal Tournament III (PC)

Australians just can’t get enough SingStar - with at least one edition of the game seemingly always in the sales charts. Perhaps that’s why Australia is set to get SingStar PS3 before the rest of the world - with the release date recently set as December 6.
SingStar will cost AUD$59.95 for the standalone game, and $109.95 for the game bundled with two USB microphones.
The only question now is whether there’s enough PlayStation 3 owners down under to keep up the sales chart domination.

The long-awaited SingStar for the PS3 has been given a release date. The game will be released on December 7th in the UK and December 12th in the rest of Europe. The biggest new feature of the game is the SingStore where players can download new tracks into their playlist. To promote the game, Sony will be setting up a SingStar Studio at the O2 Arena in London, with a number of dedicated pods where you and your friends can try out the game.

PlayStation 3 owners in Europe will no doubt be a little busier come November 9, thanks to the release of seven new games for the console. While it’s merely playing catch-up with the US and Japan, it’s likely not going to bother anyone, with at least one of the following games likely to distract them from the unfortunate truth:
- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
- Dynasty Warriors: Gundam
- Lair
- Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
- Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
- The Simpsons
- WWE Smackdown! vs RAW 2008
I will just say those of you who have been turned away from Lair by low review scores should rent the game at the very least - subscribe to our RSS feed and look for our full review arriving shortly.
