Owen Good over at Kotaku, and his brother, are huge Pac-Man fans. A recent IM conversation between the two led to a fairly in-depth conversation about the size of the stool Pac-Man would produce if he went to the toilet after every board - and the pixel art to go with it. Read and see it all at Kotaku.
If you’re scrambling for a gift for that guy who builds his own robots and always wears the same t-shirt with the nerdy joke you don’t get, then maybe you want to check out this Pac-Man hoodie. The downside of this plan is that you will have to go into a Hot Topic to buy one. Such a sacrifice is probably worth it when you consider the fact that the garment in question won’t be leaving your friends body for about a decade.

This one of a kind guitar was featured in Make Mag this week. The SPECIMEN Custom Guitar was made in 1998 and is complete with blinking headstock. I sure hope the guy that bought it was in a classic video game music cover band.

Jessica Fink’s great “Ghost Rider” design might have missed the cut at Threadless, but that hasn’t stopped her from producing the t-shirts herself, and selling them on her Etsy page. The Pac-Man inspired T-shirt is selling for $17 and there are “lots” of them. Don’t procrastinate too long though, something this geeky and quirky is sure to sell out fast.

For those with space restrictions and a burning desire for an upright arcade machine, life has always been one of pain - until now that is. Homewares store Brookstone has added a miniature tabletop arcade machine to their lineup. The machine is adorned with Pac-Man graphics and includes Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga. At the price of $1,995.00 it is rather limited, though surely someone will work out how to hack it.

Home brew developer Ruckage has released a free clone of Pac-Man for the GP2X, and it looks damn fine. A higher-resolution PC version is planned, but until then the GP2X version will have to do - so the handful of people who use their GP2X for something other than playing pirated ROM dumps of NES games should check it out.
