When Megaman cosplay goes horribly wrong

What is it with blue video game characters and horrible, horrible cosplay?

If LOLCats weren’t quite nerdy enough for you, you’ll be glad to hear that the makers of I Can Has Cheezburger recently launched a new site called GraphJam.

On October 12, a group of 381 people set the world record for the number of people playing a Nintendo DS in one area at one time. The event was hosted by Nintendo and children’s magazine K-Zone, and supervised by an official Guinness adjudicator.
Something tells me that if Gabe and Tycho wanted to, they could easily organize the breaking of this record at PAX in 2008. What do you think, guys?
If you’re the kind of collector who seriously considered spending US $10,000 on that completely useless Dreamcast Zip Drive, or a normal person looking for a hobby with more of a social stigma than just playing video games, you probably should meet this lot. Sealed Game Heaven is an international forum for people who spend small fortunes collecting video games still in their original factory shrink-wrap.
Check out this collection of every Dreamcast game released in Japan, still in original shrink-wrap:

Here’s a clip made by some bored Intellivision programmers way back in 1983, featuring some fairly amusing moments amongst a full-on assault of dodgy glasses, and one of the scariest moustaches I’ve ever seen.

This is the first part of what will become an entire video game themed sleeve. I’ve seen a myriad game tattoos in the past few years, but the owner of this one has clearly realized the golden rule of getting inked - when you’re going to be wearing something for the rest of your life, you’d best find yourself a real professional and pay the premium for quality work.
It’s just a shame that this guy having to explain to girls that “yes, I really love Nintendo that much” might ruin his chances of having grand-children to regale with stories about how he had to push buttons to play Mario before all these new-fangled total-immersion VR kergiggers hit the market - and oh, how he loved it!

I’m a big fan of Guitar Hero - I spent the better part of a week leading up to my recent 24th birthday hammering away furiously at the last six tracks of Guitar Hero 2 on Expert…and my marathon sessions with the game are undoubtedly what lead to the death of my first Xbox 360. While I’m quite the whiz on a plastic guitar, my girlfriend Kate has more palettable talents - and quite a knack for turning whatever gadgets I’m really into leading up to my birthdays into edible format. Two years ago it was a deadly-accurate recreation of a Nord Modular G2 synthesizer, this year…I really should have seen this one coming.
You won’t find this one on the shelves - this full-flight display of nerd-dom was custom-built to spec. If the plans for a pair of Goomba speakers are not currently being drawn up, I will be sorely disappointed.
