Nintendo have noticed the amount of time people spend creating Miis of celebrities, politicians and fictional characters, and have decided to support it further by offering a new channel called the “Check Mii Out Channel”, which is available to download for free at the Wii Shop Channel. George Harrison, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications explained how the channel works:
“The Check Mii Out Channel lets people show off their Mii creations and vote on those created by others. It’s yet another way that we’re building fun, interactive communities of Wii owners without charging them extra for the privilege.”
There are a wide range of search function that will be available and if you like a particular Mii you can import it on to your Wii.
