Thanks to “extraordinary levels of traffic from all around the globe,” gamers in North America won’t be getting their hands on the Metal Gear Online beta as soon as they’d been promised.
The Metal Gear Online Premiere Beta is officially open for business in the UK, Europe and Australia - although we wish you luck getting in for a game.
Konami has announced that the Metal Gear Online Premiere Beta will be open to Australians. Look for the free beta on the Australian PlayStation Store this Thursday (April 17) - play commences on April 21 and ceases May 6.
Atari has also confirmed the Australian release date for Metal Gear Solid 4 will be the same as the rest of the world - June 12, 2008.
