Wii Zapper coming with Link’s Crossbow Training

The Wii Zapper is coming on November 19 with an MSRP of USD $19.99 - complete with a pack-in game set in the Zelda universe, Link’s Crossbow Training. That’s right - only Nintendo could release a gun peripheral for their console, call it a Zapper, and include a game that doesn’t involve guns.

I’m more excited for the third-party offerings - Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 will feature a Wii-exclusive Arcade Mode that lets even the most hackish noob pick up and play the game with the Zapper, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is built from the ground up for cooperative Zapper action, and Sega’s Ghost Squad aims to bring the arcade shooter experience home for the first time in donkey’s years.

Medal of Honor Heroes 2 delivers 32-player online play to the Wii

I’m getting too old for this shit EA have announced a new title from the Medal of Honor franchise, Medal of Honor Heroes 2. From the same team at EA Canada who developed the first Medal of Honor Heroes game for the PSP, the sequel will be released on the Wii and PSP platforms this holiday season. While yet another World War II game might not have you trembling with excitement, Heroes 2 looks to be the first title to bring a decent multiplayer FPS experience to the Wii - with the 32-player online play from the original PSP version surviving the jump to the Wii.
