E3 Preview - Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

June 2nd, 2009

One of the big E3 games that have gotten some more information was Metal Gear Solid. Although it’s not Metal Gear Solid 5, Peace Walker is set for the PSP. The game itself takes place in the 1970s which is ten years after MGS3.  I will admit that graphically it’s not PS3 caliber, but I can imagine this game being so big that it would also make it to the PS2.

Here are some images from the E3 Trailer.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 to feature “simulation” (cheating) mechanic

August 29th, 2007

pes-2008-dive.jpg

During the many hours I spent sitting in the bar at Leipzig NH hotel knocking back several well-earned double-Jack-and-Cokes, with no less than three televisions in eye-shot at any given stage, and all of them playing soccer, I had ample time to stew on the fact I truly despise the sport.

A portable version would seemingly require some skill to pull off, but from the screens that follow, it looks very promising. The 2008 release of Silent Hill V also guarantees to set the standard for survival horror on the current Gen consoles.
