It seems that Hudson will face stiff competition for their upcoming iPhone games, as we will soon be able to play old Playstation games on it. The emulator named psx4iphone, is currently in pre-beta stages. ZodTTD, the programmer responsible for the program, says that the software could be out within days if enough people donate. ZodTTD had promised that the program will have full sound and memory card support, and will run 75% of the games released. In lieu of the iPhone’s lack of buttons, psx4iphone will use areas of the touch screen to correspond to the relevant buttons.

Bomberman developer, Hudson Entertainment are moving heavily into Apple iPhone and iPod Touch game development. Their games will be web-based, and made available on Hudson’s “Do the Hudson” website. The website opens tomorrow, and iPhone and iPod Touch players will be be able to access it with their Safari web browser.
The games on feature will be ‘Megutte Pon!’ - a Bomberman themed tile-flipping game, ‘Meijin wo Sagase!” - a Where’s Wally-style game, and ‘Dokka Kawatta? (e, mittsumo)’ - a spot the difference game. I’ll be very surprised if many people “Do the Hudson” based on those games - where’s iBomb?
