EverQuest movie in the works

The writer of the screen adaption of 300, Michael Gordon, has been put to work writing the screenplay for an EverQuest movie - a somewhat scary concept, given many consider the neanderthal script to be what dragged 300 down.
Avi Arad is producing the movie for Columbia Pictures. Avi’s latest production efforts include Spider-Man 3 and Ghost Rider.
