Everyones Nintendo Channel

Lucky Japanese Wii owners will today get to use Everybody’s Nintendo Wii channel. The channel offers release date information, promotional videos, and DS demo downloads.

Due the DS’s lack of storage space, content has to be streamed from the Wii to the DS. Currently the DS content on the channel features some demos of training games and patches for both Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.

The channel also features trailers for many game, on of them being the highly anticipated Wii Fit game.

Nintendo must have caught wind of Sony’s recent PSP announcements, as they’ve started work on a similar download service for the DS. Called “Everyone’s Nintendo Channel” the service will turn the Wii into a download station for the DS, offering both demos and videos. Currently there is no word on when the service will be available.
