This week sees another full album hit Rock Band - and unfortunately, it isn’t Nirvana’s “Nevermind”. The Pixies album “Doolittle” and three tracks from Weezer will have to do. Tracks are the usual $1.99 / 160 Microsoft Points each, with discounts for buying the whole pack.

The screenshots look legitimate to me - here are the tracks:
- Machine Head - “Aesthetics of Hate”
- Avenged Sevenfold - “Afterlife”
- Nirvana - “Breed”
- Nine Inch Nails - “Burn”

Luke over at Kotaku has won my heart with his list of songs that should be in Rock Band, but aren’t. Clutch, Mastodon, Slayer and Kyuss would all make my day…and Refused - “New Noise”? That’d make my millenia.

This week’s Rock Band downloadable content is a genre that I hold dear - punk. The song on offer are The Clash’s “I Fought the Law”, The Ramones’ “Rockaway Beach” and The Buzzcocks’ “Ever Fallen In Love?”. As much as I love these old bands, I hope they release another pack that proves to be a bit more challenging – maybe with a bit of Op Ivy or Bad Religion. Usual pricing of 160 Microsoft Points (Xbox 360) or $1.99 (PlayStation 3) per track and 440 Microsoft Points or $5.49 for all three.
