What is it with blue video game characters and horrible, horrible cosplay?

TriForce has announced the acquisition of a license to produce full-scale replicas of the weaponry and armor found in Gears of War. First to be released are the COG armor, COG helmet and the awesome, chainsaw-equipped Lancer Assault Rifle - which will be available for pre-order on July 8, 2008. Obligatory Suicide Girls photo shoot sure to arrive shortly after.

A UK:RESISTANCE reader has managed to photograph yet another classic example of when cosplay goes horribly wrong - this time involving a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Team Fortress 2 must be doing something right as every man and his dog are dressing up as a character this Halloween. If you haven’t got your fill from the pictures after the jump go here.
It’s when friends pull together that you get something really special - like these Team Fortress 2 fans who went all out to make one of the best displays of cosplay I have ever seen. We don’t know if this was just a general cosplay event or preparation for Halloween, but whatever it is, it’s amazing.
