Ion Audio’s Rock Band drum kit

Ion Audio have set up their prototype Rock Band drum kit on the show floor at CES, complete with cymbals and rubber drum pads which allow you to rock out without the horrible wood-on-plastic tapping.
Release depends on consumer interest, and there is no word on a price. Personally I’d drop anything up to US$100 to rock out without being concerned I’m about to snap the kick in half, or sever a soldered connection inside one of the pads.
