Capcom has announced a playable demo of Devil May Cry 4 will hit the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace in early 2008. The demo will take players through a variety of the game’s environments and familiarize them with Nero, the Devil Bringer and the Exceed system before a final showdown with Berial. If you think the game looks great in screenshots or streaming videos, just wait until you see it in 60 frames per second at 720p.
Capcom today announced the contents of the Devil May Cry 4 Collector’s Edition package - along with the game disc, the Steelbook case contains a DVD with the first four episodes of ADV Films’ Devil May Cry: The Animated Series, and a second bonus DVD containing a “making of” video, a digital art book, music from the game soundtrack, wallpapers and other crap for your computer.
The $79.99 package will be available February 5, 2008 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Those of you who were disappointed with the cam shot video of Super Street Fighter II HD Remix last week can perk up a bit, as producer Rey Jimenez has provided three in-game screenshots for fans to pour over. Two more screens after the jump.
Capcom have let the cat out of the bag with the announcement they are working on Street Fighter IV. The above video is not in-game footage, although with the consoles of today, it very nearly could be - we’ll have to wait and see. Unfortunately the teaser video is all we have to cling to, no system list, no quarterly release date…nothing.
Mike Patton, musician extraordinaire and all-round weird guy has been cast as the voice of Bionic Commando’s Nathan Spencer. The news has come straight from a Capcom press release that is loaded with other info concerning the game. For those who don’t know the game is a classic remake that has been a long time on the table and only now are we getting some information about it. Read after the jump for the full press release containing a plot rundown.
Originally released for the Xbox 360 and PC, the frozen wasteland shooter will finally be making its way to the PS3. It has been speculated the move has come to quell anger over Capcom’s flip flopping of Monster Hunter 3 from PS3 exclusive to Wii exclusive. The PS3 version of the game will feature all past downloadable content already on the disc and 16 player multiplayer has been confirmed.

Capcom have revealed a new Bionic Commando game, currently under development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Of course, the grappling hook that played a key role in the original game is back - although with such a Wiimote-friendly gameplay mechanic, it’s unclear why the choice was made to ignore the Wii this time around.
Some new details about Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix have been posted over at the Capcom Digital blog. While the team wanted to give us the first proper in-game screenshot, the party poopers at Capcom PR would rather keep such “big stuff” under their hat for an upcoming event.
Until then, we have some new artwork featuring Cammy and Bison, and some details on the all important netcode:
We’ve been doing a lot of work on netcode lately and it’s really working well. I can honestly say since the ‘first pass’ of the netcode, it’s been playing better than I’ve ever seen Hyper Fighter for XBLA. And this netcode hasn’t even been fully optimized yet. Also, that’s only with one out of the 2 network layers functioning. If everything goes as planned and the second layer comes online, there should be further improvement to the online play.
