The Ultimate Guitar Hero peripheral
If you take Guitar Hero very seriously and don’t mind parting with a truckload of cash then news of ArtGuitars’ new line-up just might interest you. The company is planning to release the most over the top peripheral ever released in the flavor of two of the hardest rocking bands out there, Pantera and Lynyrd Skynyrd. The controller is set to retail for $399 each but before you create a utopian society based on anti-consumerism there are some good reasons for the price. Games Radar had some hands-on time with a prototype of the controller and said it felt good but they could see some problems that might arise. Only able to test it on the 360 version of Guitar Hero III, they noted that other systems use widely variable forms of connection to the controller and the Wii must have a slot for the Wiimote to reside in.

Oh who am I kidding…go start that utopian society. Pantera version pictures after the jump.
