PlayStation 3 outsells Wii in Japan
Sales data from Media Create has indicated that the PlayStation 3 outsold the Wii for the second time in Japan since the 40GB PS3 was launched. Overall sales figures were down 20%, with 39,178 PS3 units sold to 36,230 Wii units. While PS3 sales figures have increased in other countries, we don’t think this feat will be emulated outside Japan anytime soon.
