Michael Shorrock, director of 3rd Party relations at SCEA has announced that the next new franchise from Rockstar games will be exclusive to the PlayStation 3. Although Sony has made an agreement with Rockstar to say no more concerning the deal nor the title involved, they have mentioned it’s definitely not going to be La Noire.

Whether or not this is a token of apology for Hosi Simon’s slip of the tongue can only be speculated upon - but according to Shorrock, the deal can only mean good things:

Rockstar really wanted to make a game that you can truly only do on PS3, harnessing the power of CELL and Blu-ray disc and this deal lets them do just that.. This is really a win-win situation for both companies.
