A single, blurry screenshot supposedly taken from a PS3 demo machine at E3 shows an interesting new option in the menu - Select Music. Few could disagree that Sony’s flagship title MotorStorm would benefit immensely from this one. The only verification so far is from another forum post at PS3forums,

At ALL the E3 machines that I checked I can confirm this was shown on Ratchet and Clank, Heavenly Sword, LittleBigPlanet, PSN High Poker, Assassins Creed, L.A.I.R., Singstar. I can pretty much say, that most of the machines had it and weren’t game specific.

The functionality has been available to developers since firmware version 1.6, however the appearance of the menu option while Singstar is running would lead one to believe that custom soundtrack support will be required of developers once the update hits.
