Two of my favourite English phrases are “free ____” and “fully destructible environments”. Which is kinda why Warmonger: Operation Downtown Destruction captured my attention. The opportunity to blow away walls, ceilings and entire buildings down to their core, will make safe cover a scarce commodity and allow players to constantly change the flow of the game.

As developer NetDevil attempts their first multiplayer online FPS, it’s a wonder how they would finance such an operation. According to NetDevil President Scott Brown, those who have warmed to Warmonger will be able to purchase map packs, weapon packs and other extras.

But on October 16, the whole game will be available for a free download at the official site.
