Sony announces Cell Computing Board for PC

CellSony have developed a new computer board which features the Cell processor and RSX GPU from the PlayStation 3. The new chip will be unveiled at the SIGGRAPH show in San Diego on August 7, where Sony says it will demonstrate real-time processing of images which are four times the resolution of HDTV.
