Nvidia’s new 65nm 8800 GT is faster than the GTS

Before you go out to update your system because you saw the requirements of Crysis, stop and read this. Nvidia have just released their single slot cooled 8800 GT card that outperforms the rest of the line, except the 8800 GTX and Ultra. Yes, it performs better than its intended superior, the 8800 GTS.
It does so because this is Nvidia’s first card to use a 65nm chip, allowing for a higher clock speeds while running cooler and using less power. It also will take all of the load off the CPU for video playing, a feature that was only present in lower 8 series cards due to later release. Possibly the best thing about the card is the price - street prices of under USD$199 have been spotted.
Those of you who can never have enough power might want to wait until mid November, when a new revision of the 8800 GTS is expected to be released.
